TinkerCAD Level 2

Age group: designed for the 6th to 7th grade age group, as well as the graduates of our TinkerCAD Level 1 course. Those who have not completed our TinkerCAD Level 1 course will be offered two additional preparation classes in the beginning to cover the Level 1 materials.

Objectives: This course aims to advance the skillset of the students, allowing them to fluently use TinkerCAD as a design tool. Graduates of this course would be able to create parametric designs using block coding. Students will learn about mechanisms, as well as the concept of parts and assemblies.

This is an 8-week long course, meeting once a week for an hour. Weekly homework help kids learn effectively. A final project encourages creativity and public speaking skills. If applicable, the student’s design may be 3D printed after the last class (a small fee may apply depending on size). All classes are conducted via online meeting only. Class size is limited to 8 students.

Tuition: $120 for 8 classes
